I wonder who first decided that having addresses have identical numbers and street names but merely different direction prefixes was a good idea.

Unrelatedly, we ventured to Shattinger Music (on S Broadway) today. It was one of the clearest days I've seen in St Louis. There were absolutely no clouds to be seen in the skies over our fair city. Somehow, part of the Jefferson National Expansion Memorial managed to sneak into this northbound view, which is the picture of the day.
