Much like MoDOT is working on so many things at once (e.g. closing lanes on I-170 for the new SPUI at Olive Blvd. at the same time as they'll be replacing the Daniel Boone Expwy. across much of St. Louis next year, or closing ramps at every major freeway interchange of I-270 this past summer), our fair University is working on several projects at once. In order to make the $hundreds parking passes actually worth something, they built a "temporary" parking lot. Although the fresh plantings and new metal fence are at the other end, you can at least see one of the light standards amongst the other construction in this picture of the day.
